PHOTOS: Buhari, Osinbajo, Saraki, Dogara Lead Service Chiefs To Mark Armed Forces Remembrance Day
President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, on Monday led Service chiefs, to lay wreaths in honour of Nigeria’s fallen heroes.

The 2018 Armed Forces Remembrance with Theme “Appreciating the Contributions of the Armed Forces in ensuring peace and Security”, featured a parade of Officers and Men of the Armed Forces and Nigerian Legion, a minute silence for the fallen heroes, a 21-gun salute, the release of pigeons to signify peace and the signing of the anniversary register by the President.
Other dignitaries at the event include the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onoghen, Ministers of Defense and Federal Capital Territory Abuja while the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen.Gabriel Olonisakin led the Service Chiefs and Inspector General Police to lay their wreath.
