2019: Dankwambo Begs For Support Of North West Delegates

Dr. Hassan Ibrahim DankwamboThe incumbent Governor of Gombe State, Ibrahim Dankwambo, one of the presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party has today held a meeting with some North/West delegates of the party in Kaduna.

Addressing the delegates, Dankwambo revealed that he is visiting them in order to officially inform them that he has joined the contest of the PDP presidential flagbearer for the 2019 election.

According to Dankwambo, the Zone is the first on his visiting list and as such he appealed to them to give their support for him in the race.

He further pleads with them to encourage PDP supporters in the zone to ensure that they collect their PVC from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC as that is what would qualify them to participate in the election fully.

Present at the meeting was, the North West Zonal Vice Chairman of the PDP, Ibrahim Kazaure, the Party’s National Secretary, Umar Ibrahim Tsauri State Chairmen and Secretaries of the party in Kaduna, Kano, Jigawa, Zamfara, Kebbi, Sokoto and Katsina.

Governor Dankwambo officially announces his joining the race for the presidential seat in the PDP today via his official Twitter account.

In the tweet, Dankwabo wrote: “After wide consultations with party members & Nigerians of diverse backgrounds! I, Dr Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo will be running for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the platform of our great party, the People’s Democratic Party.”
