Buhari’s Campaign Team Commences Search For Funds Against 2019 Election
Following the order which was given by president Muhammadu Buhari to his campaign team for the 2019 election not to use public funds for the campaign during the All Progressives Congress’s convention held last April in Abuja, the team has commenced search for funds to be used as the presidential election is drawing closer with just two hundred and twenty-one (221) days left.
According to information available to NIGERIA NEWS, the campaign team which has not been fully revealed to members of the public is already being threatened by the unavailability of required funds that would be needed for the campaign.
Also one of the Nigerian notable newspapers, Vanguard, has reported today that a source who doesn’t want his or her identity revealed said that the president doesn’t want to provide the necessary funds needed for the campaign and as such the team is left with the option of searching for alternatives that would help to generate funds.
