Reports coming in, is that on the July 5th 2018, some members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) left the ruling party to form a faction known as Reformed All Progressives Congress (R-APC).
A well recognized person known as Baba Galadima, a former chieftain of APC the ruling party, who is now known as the chairman of the new party, castigated the ruling party of closing its doors on aggrieved members.
He also went onto say that the aggrieved members in the party had expressed good faith and desire to its affairs but were rewarded with mediocrity and even contempt. So looking at this alone explains one basic reason why APC members are leaving the party.

It is also said that the leaders of this so called ruling party play out injustice and inequality in the party. it has been observed that the leadership of the APC has decided to shun out members of the ruling party, as well as other members who have gotten up to the level with real grievances and a desire to develop the responsiveness of the APC.
- THEY ARE CURRENTLY WORSE THAN PDP

The APC government has failed to bring together civilians as people are more divided than any other period in the history of this country.
- DIVISION IN THE PARTY
