The Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe, has described the All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party as expired Political Parties.
Okupe said this at a summit of the Accord Party in Ibadan Yesterday.
The Senior Special Assistant emphatically reiterated the fact that these parties are not in the trend of new politics. He said “The PDP and the APC are big trucks with old age and misuse has affected their relevance. Today, the PDP and the APC have expired as political parties. PDP as an automobile has spoilt its back axle while APC crankshaft has broken.”
Highlights of the summit was a presentation of the Flag of the party to a former member of the House of Reps, Bukola Ajala by the South-West Zonal Chairman, Kayode Ojo as the new leader of Accord Party in the state.
Expressing her Gratitude, Bukola Ajala said the party had gained grounds and will continue to gain ground in the State and the South-Western Zone at large.
