Attack On Fayose Just Shows We Are Back To Military Rule-ADP

Attacking Fayose Means We Have Not Progressed Democratically, ADP

Following the attack by the Police on Governor Ayodele Fayose, the National Secretary of the Action Democratic party, ADP Dr James Okoroma have stated that the country is still been ruled by the military.

NIGERIA NEWS gathered that the ADP although have not joined in the signing of the MOU by the R-APC, obviously will not give their votes to the ruling party in the 2019 elections.

Okoroma made this known to newsmen via a telephone conversation thus, “It simply means we have not made any progress democratically.”

“I am ashamed and I find it difficult to defend it before my children; what kind of Nigerian leaders are we presenting to our children if a governor can be so molested even though he enjoy immunity as enshrined in our constitution.”

“It is a shameful development. I think and want to believe that there is more to it than meet the eyes. If what happened on Wednesday is true then we are in trouble, it is an indication that 2019 will be war.”

“President Buhari’s government should watch it because the outside world is watching what is happening and we will not stand and watch one man destroy our democracy; nobody should toy with our democracy.”

“If he uses the forces of cohesion to attack the sitting governor, it is a clear indication that we are under a dictatorship. It is a shame to the Nation and it ridicules us before the world”, he stated.

One of pages removed by Facebook on Thursday, as revealed by Frank, was loaded with viral false news and targeted attacks on Abubakar, Nigeria’s former vice president.

According to Timi Frank, the report reads:

“that on the overall, the misleading accounts had reached some 2.8 million users, and the pages had engaged over 5,000 followers, according to Facebook’s estimates.”

After praising Facebook, He went on further to say:

“Nigerians ought to be worried about how the APC-led government is spending huge amount of money just to discredit the rightful winner of the 2019 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar.

“I believe that if a lie goes on for 20 years, truth will definitely catchup with it one day. It will not be long before Nigerians will realise how desperate and fake President Muhammadu Buhari is in his bid to hang onto power.”

The political nationalist called on the rest of the world to acknowledge the press release of the Associated Press as well as the resulting damage accomplished in the last election to Nigeria’s second largest party and its presidential nominee.
