The Director General of the Consumer Protection Council, Babatunde Irukera and some officials of the council have stormed the popular Krispy Kreme in Lagos in order to inspect the quality of its products and facilities.
Krispy Kreme is a global outlet which specialises in the sale of different shapes of doughnut.
As gathered by NIGERIA NEWS, Krispy Kreme also serves coffee and other soft drinks to accompany its products.
The information on the inspection of the outlet which is located in 33C Bish. Aboyade Cole St, Victoria Island 100272, Lagos via the official Twitter handle of the council.
The inspection of the outlet is geared towards fulfilling the mission statement of the council which is to “protect and enhance consumers’ interest through information, education and enforcement of appropriate standards for goods and services and to promote an environment of fair and ethical trade practices.”
In the tweet, the CPC wrote: Happening Now: “Tunde Irukera DG, CPC, at the premises of Krispy Kreme, Victoria Island, Lagos, to conduct a quality inspection on their products and facilities and operations.”
