Pa Moses Ekpo who is the Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State has reportedly dumped the PDP for APC.
NIGERIA NEWS gathered from reports that the number 2 citizen of Akwa Ibom State is making this move to follow the immediate past Governor of the state, Senator Godswill Akpabio who just defected.
Reports adds that “although the resignation has not been confirmed officially by the Akwa Ibom State Government, an APC media organ (@APC Newspaper) has tweeted that Ekpo, the oldest deputy governor in Nigeria, has tendered his resignation letter.”
In his words, “If he (Pa Ekpo) has truly tendered his resignation letter, my office will be the first to let the public know. The government will speak about it officially. The report is part of the bad politics we are talking about, which some mischievous politicians from the state play to create a buzz and distract the public as they pursue their selfish interests.”
