‘I Don’t Have To Rush To The Field To Make Noise, I Have Intelligence Officers That Update Me Daily’ – Buhari
In a seeming defense of his lack of physical presence in violence-rife states up until yesterday, President Muhammadu Buhari has noted that he is, however, aware of the happenings in each state.
The Incumbent President explained that he has a system of gathering intelligence form the various states without having to go there to ‘make noise.’
President Buhari said these yesterday in Jalingo, Taraba State as he commenced his scheduled visits to 5 states that have witnessed violence in the past few weeks.
As gathered by NIGERIA NEWS, Buhari said: “I am here (Taraba) to meet with the leadership of the state, to offer my condolences to those who lost loved ones and properties in violence.
“People, sometimes expect me to rush out to the fields, to go and make noise.
“But I have my ways of gathering intelligence. I get to know what is happening across the country without necessarily going to those areas.
“I will be going to Benue and Zamfara after I return from Ghana to also condole with the people.”
Earlier, in reaction to the announcement of President Bhari’s visits, Reno Omokri called President Muhammadu Buhari a good follower who lacks any leadership qualities.
