Chelsea Manager Says The Blues Are Ready To Play Atletico Madrid In Champions League Fixture
Chelsea FC manager, Antonio Conte has expressed his certainty that the team is prepared for their next champions league fixture against Spanish giants, Atletico Madrid.
The chelsea manager believes that his team’s victory against Stoke City in a premier league fixture on Saturday in a will serve as a boost to their morale as they take on the Los Colchoneros of Spain.
Antonio Conte stated emphatically that his players are ready to meet the big game, this despite the previous result. Conte said that he the game against Atletico was considered a big fixture in which his team was ready to fight for winning points.
”It wasn’t easy despite our last 4-0 result, and we must be pleased and satisfied with the victory that came.
“Now it’s important to rest well and prepare for another game against Atletico Madrid which will be a big game for us.
“‘We have to prepare in the right way for this tough game, and my players are ready to fight for the three points,” he said.
Conte had also earlier said that he was ready to have a handshake with his former blues player, Diego Costa, who had departed from Chelsea to join with Atletico Madrid. The Brazilian-born Spanish international joined Atletico last week, although he will not be making an appearance until January as Atletico are currently serving a ban term pohibiting them from registering new players until after the ban.
