Cubana de Aviacion’s Boeing 737 Crashes in Havana, Cuba with 104 Passengers Onboard
Reports reaching us at NIGERIA NEWS states that a plane crash involving a Boeing 737 airliner has just occurred in Havana, the capital city of Cuba.
The plane which belongs to the National Carrier of the South-American country, Cubana de Aviacion, was said to have crashed and exploded near Jose Marti International Airport in Havana.
According to a local media outlet, Presna Latian News Agency, the aircraft had crashed with its 104 passengers and crew onboard shortly after it took off.
The plane was bound for Holguin, a city east of the Havana Island.
According to Radio Habana, the plane came down on the “highway” between Boyeros and Havana, near the airport.
