However, the 27-year-old has just one more year on his current contract with the Old Trafford side, but the Premier League giants are willing to extend his stay beyond next season.

The Spain international has been heavily linked with a move to join Real Madrid all season long, after their effort to sign him in 2015 failed on the last day of the transfer window.

He is tipped to replace Keylor Navas as the Galacticos are hoping to strengthen their squad for competition next term.

Meanwhile, reports from Spain according to Daily Express reveals that the European champions are have turned their attention away from the Spanish keeper.

“Usually I’m always calm, the important thing now is to start the World Cup on June 15th,” said De Gea, ahead of Spain’s 1-1 friendly draw with Switzerland on Sunday.

“Is the most important thing. Do well in Russia, have a good role and do things in the best possible way.

“Future? I’m happy where I am, happy. Now, very focused on the national team.”

Recall that Jose Mourinho earlier maintained that De Gea is one of his best players and he has no intentions of letting him leave anytime soon.

“I see him here – I don’t know what the intentions are of Real Madrid but they should think about another player,” said Mourinho.

Though Real are still hoping they can land De Gea this summer, but Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is on their radar and may be sold this summer.

The Blancos have also joined the race to sign Roma ace Alisson Becker, who will be manning the goal post for Brazil at the World Cup.

Premier League side Liverpool are also keen on signing the PSG keeper, who reached the Champions League semi-finals under Eusebio Di Francesco this season.

Meanwhile, in a previous report, NIGERIA NEWS had reported that Brazil star arrives at Manchester United training ground for medical.

The rule that would be implemented under this is that there would be no chance given to any players to waste time on the pitch anymore, as substituted players would have to leave the pitch at the closest side of the pitch and card may probably be awarded for wasting time.

PENALTY KICKS

The Goalkeepers would, therefore, have to have a foot put on the line and would not be allowed to touch the goal posts before the shoot out of the penalty kicks. In this manner, no Goalkeeper would be able to exploit any chance to avert an opportunity to lead.

COACHES CARDS

The coach would also have to be carded by the Referee in a similar as players were being carded during a match. Both yellow and red cards would also be applicable to coaches as well as starting from next season.

HANDBALLS

  • The goal would be denied if the ball actually strikes any player’s hand during the development to have a goal.
  • If any player should make any favourable moves in handling the ball outside the penalty kickbox, even if it regarded unintentional, freekicks would be awarded.
  • The IFAB dispose of ‘manufactured’ restarts if there be any drop balls.

The IFAB make it clear that:

“The current dropped ball procedure often leads to a ‘manufactured’ restart which is ‘exploited’ unfairly or an aggressive confrontation.

“Returning the ball to the team that last played it restores what was ‘lost’ when play was stopped, except in the penalty area where it is simpler to return the ball to the goalkeeper.

“To prevent that team gaining an unfair advantage, all players of both teams, except the player receiving the ball, must be at least 4m (4.5 yds) away.”
