Security operatives from the agency yesterday grilled Jang for hours over the alledged misapproriation of funds in the state while he was Governor.
Reports reveal that prior to his arrest by the EFCC, he was probed by a committee set up by his sucessor, Simon Lalong, who claimed that the immediate past governor misappropriated government funds.
This was made known by one of the media aides to Jonah Jang, Clintom Garuba who spoke to newsmen stating that jang was released after several hours of detention by the EFCC.
According to Garuba, his release was on administrative bail, “Part of the conditions for the administrative bail is the provision of a surety who must hold the position of a director in the civil service.”
