Ekiti Election: Crisis In Accord Party Over Members’ Support For PDP Aspirant

Information reaching us at NIGERIA NEWS discloses that there is crisis in Accord Party as the National leadership of the party has ordered the immediate dissolution of the party’s executives in Ekiti State over alleged support of the PDP’s governorship candidate and the beloved candidate of the incumbent governor of the state Ayodele Fayose, against the state’s gubernatorial election scheduled for next Saturday, July 14th, 2018.

The party has also ordered the immediate suspension of  Chief Abiola Odeoba-led who is allegedly said to be the one responsible for leading some members of the party to support the PDP aspirant.

The information gathered by NIGERIA NEWS further revealed that another prominent member of the party, a former governorship aspirant Akogun Banjo Ojo was also not spared by the national leadership of the party.

Revealing further, both Odeoba and Ojo had last week Thursday led all members of the party’s executives in Ekiti state to a mega rally organized by the PDP in Ado Ekiti and further declares support for Professor Kolapo.

The party has however constituted a 7-man committee, to be led by Dr. S.O. Ogunniyi until further notice.
