Police Investigate Death Of Former PDP Chairman’s Son
The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has begun an investigation on the alleged murder of the son of the former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bilyaam Bello, who was earlier reported to have been stabbed to death in his sleep.
The Public Relation Officer of the Abuja Police Command, DSP Anjuguri Manzah, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) this Monday in Abuja.
Manzah said that the operatives of the Police Division had gone to the scene of the incident and arrested the suspects immediately information they received information of the occurrence.
He said the Federal Capital Territory Police Command had taken over the case from the Police Division in Maitama, where the incident had been reported to have taken place, and that the suspect had been taken into custody.
According to the PPRO, an investigation had been embarked upon and the case would be charged to court, in order for justice to take its course in the case.
