The Super Eagles of Nigeria will take on the Abiceleste of Argentina in their first pre-2018 World Cup friendly match next month.
As reported by OwnGoalNigeria, the game will be played in Spain on November 14, four days after their final World Cup Qualifier against Algeria.
The Nigerian National team has already qualified for next year’s tournament in Russia and are looking to fix up friendly matches against some of the biggest teams to help them prepare accordingly for the football Mundial.
National Team Coach, Gernot Rohr had previously called on the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to fix a match with the German National side before the World Cup, stating that these are the calibre of teams the Super Eagles need to play in preparation for the World Cup.

The NFF has now agreed to a friendly game with the South American giants, who boast the likes of Angel Di Maria, Paulo Dybala, Sergio Aguero and are captained by five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Lionel Messi.
Argentina qualified for the 2018 World Cup on the final day of the South America qualifying series, with a 3-1 win away to Ecuador, thanks to a Messi hat-trick.
