FRSC Begins Screening And Physical Assessment Phase In Recruitment Exercise

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced the commencement of the screening and physical assessment phase of its 2019 recruitment exercise.

Recall that the Corps recruitment exercise commenced on May 28 with the uploading of the application forms on FRSC recruitment portal.

In a statement by Bisi Kazeem, Corps Public Education Officer, FRSC, he stated that applicants are advised to check their emails used for the submission of the applications on Wednesday, September 19 for information on the screening and physical fitness assessment.

As gathered by NIGERIA NEWS, Kazeem stated that the next phase is to be conducted in all state capitals from Monday, September 24 to Saturday, September 29.

Part of the statement read: “The email information shall contain the venue, date, time of screening and required items to be taken along for the exercise.

“Shortlisted applicants are to come with the summary data page earlier received and email notification slip which shall admit them to the screening venue.

“Any candidate without the print out of the summary data page and notification slip for this phase of the exercise shall not be admitted into the screening venue.”

The statement further urged all applicants to be mindful that “FRSC would never ask anyone to pay for the ongoing recruitment exercise in whatever guise.”

In an earlier report, NIGERIA NEWS had reported that FRSC set to engage over 4, 000 personnel.

Fire Service 2019 Recruitment Full Details And When Will It Starts?

The Nigeria Prisons Service and the Federal Fire Service are instructed to give about  9,675 people job, in which 2,200 workers would be for the Federal Fire Service recruitment while 7,475 would be for the Nigeria Prison Service. This instruction is given by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration and Prisons Services Board, CDFIPB, NIGERIA NEWS reports.

The approval for the given instruction as to the recruitment of people into both agency came up during the board meeting that was held on 9th and 10th of May. 2019 in Abuja.

The secretary of the board, Al-Hassan Yakmut disclosed the information on Tuesday that the CDFIPB chairman, Abdulrahman Dambazau gave the approval.

The board chairman stated that there would no more be any segregation between the BSc. and HND holder in the service. A committee was immediately set up to implement the new order.

The news that spread that there would be the conduct of Aptitude test for the Nigeria Customs Service recruitments is debunked by the body. It is gathered by the NIGERIA NEWS that the body only filtrating their system to electronically select the qualified applicant.

The Nigeria Customs Service gave a report through the Public Relations Officer, Joseph Attah that, “A total number of people that registered is 828,333, but not all of them accomplished the process,”
