English Cosmologist And Physicist, Stephen Hawking Is Dead
The world of science has lost one of its most prominent members as the world-renowned gravitational physicist, Stephen Hawking has been announced dead.
Hawking was most famous for his work on black holes. He authored and co-authored 12 major books, chief of which was the ‘A Brief History In Time’ published in 1988.

CNN reported that the genius physicist, who suffered from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) that led to him being paralysed for decades, died in the early hours of today at his Cambridge residence at age 76.
His demise was confirmed by his children, Lucy, Robert and Tim through a statement.
As obtained by NIGERIA NEWS, the statement read: “We are deeply saddened that our beloved father passed away today.
“He was a great scientist and an extraordinary man whose work and legacy will live on for many years.
“He once said, ‘It would not be much of a universe if it wasn’t home to the people you love.’ We will miss him forever.”
