Daddy Freeze Claims Hackers Put Funke Akindele’s Name On Avengers Cast List, Tells Marvel Studios To Take Advantage
Popular On-Air Personality, Daddy Freeze has commented on the recent happenings with Funke Akindele, as she was seemingly included in the cast list of Marvel Studio’s upcoming 2018 Superhero movie ‘Avengers: Infinity Wars.’
As the story went, Funke Akindele was listed by movie review website, IMDb as a member of the Dora Milaje crew in the upcoming flick.
Only for her name to be removed from the same website and replaced by fellow Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji, whose name has now also been subsequently expunged from the website.
Speaking on the development, Freeze alleged that this was the work of hackers but he said it could be a good opportunity for Marvel Studios if they could take advantage of the stunt to sell more in the African continent.
Freeze wrote, ”Apparently, Funke Akindele was not billed to be a part of the latest #Avengers Infinity. The latest gist is that her pic was put there by a hacker.
”If only Marvel studios knew what the hacker had done for them, they would have found him paid him and quickly contacted @funkejenifaakindele, found a role for her, shot her along with the cast and with the publicity and sales in Africa alone, possibly doubled their income.
”I was heartbroken when I saw that she was taken off the list.”
Also lending her voice to the story was Tonto Dikeh who said: ”Sad, was so happy. Well, she is our Star and we love her regardless..it will happen, this just paved the way. I sense it.”
