Buhari In Yobe, Meet With Concerned Groups
Following the arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari to Damaturu, Yobe State, in continuation of his nationwide visit to troubled areas across the country, he is now meeting with stakeholders and concerned groups across the state.
Those at the meeting include the Governor of Yobe State, Mr Ibrahim Gaidam, Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno; Chief of Defence Staff, General Obayomi Olonishakin; National Security Adviser, Retired Major General Babagana Monguno and other service chiefs.
Others are the ministers of Education; Youth and Sports, Interior and Information and Culture, Mr Adamu Adamu; Solomon Dalong, Abdulrahman Dambazau, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, parents of the abducted students of the Government Girls Science Technical College (GGSTC), Dapchi, government officials, traditional rulers, and community leaders.
At the meeting, the President is expected to commiserate with families of 110 schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram insurgents at Government Girls Science and Technical School, Dapchi, on February 19.
Nigeria News had Previously reported that the President visited Taraba state, last week Monday and Benue state on Monday, March 12 where he sympathized with families of those who lost their lives.
