The Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun has issued a directive that the sum of N421 Million should be paid to the legitimate informant that provided information which led to the recovery of the alleged stolen funds hidden in a flat at the Osborne Towers, Ikoyi, Lagos.
A total of N13bn was recovered from the Ikoyi Loot.

This was made known to a senior official in Government.
The source added, “The money for the payment of the Ikoyi whistle-blower is ready and that money is ready for release this week.”
“A directive has already been issued that the money should be released to the whistle-blower and that will be done before the end of the week.”
Meanwhile, the whistle-blower policy by the Federal Government enables anyone that provides information to any looted fund access to between 2.5 percent and 5 percent of any recovered money.
The Ikoyi Fund However had a lot of people making claims to it.
