The Governor of Osun State, Governor Rauf ARegbesola on Wednesday inaugurated the 389 newly elected councilors in the state.
The Swearing in ceremony which was performed in Osogbo was witnessed by the Speaker, Osun state House of Assembly, Hon. ‎ Najeem Folasayo Salam, members of the executive cabinet and other distinguished personalities.
Nigeria news had previously reported that the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission ( OSIEC ) on Jan. 27 conducted a parliamentary local government election in the state where it declared that all the 389 councilorship wards in the state were won by the ruling All Progressives Congress.
