JAMB: UTME Board To Start Releasing JAMB Results Soon

 

JAMB has made it known that over 1 million candidates wrote the exam which ended on Wednesday, April 17th, the information was disclosed to newsmen by the Head of Media and Publicity of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, Fabian Benjamin on Tuesday

Recall that JAMB had earlier stated that over 1.8 million who were seeking admission into higher institution registered for the examination that commenced on April 11th nationwide and JAMB examination centres

NIGERIA NEWS observed that the head of publicity of JAMB Fabina also made it known to journalist that no single result from JAMB has been released yet and that students should be worried of information they received from social media, he added that results are going through the screening process to determined fraud and malpractices which to be weeded away reason many will not see their results.

“We have to keep screening these results because there are lots of issues we discovered like multiple registrations, impersonation and the likes, so we are still fishing them out. Some have been arrested and those yet to be arrested, we have their records, we will fish them out. However, candidates should expect their results very soon,” he added

Thousands Of Students Will Not Have JAMB Result These Year – Ishaq Oloyede

Due to examination malpractices on the examination concluded yesterday, the register fo the board, Oloyede has made it known that many people in thousands of numbers will not be able to see their result in this year as a result of examination matrices at their accredited JAMB centres

NIGERIA NEWS reveals that the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Professor Ishaq Oloyede made this known in Lagos on Tuesday during the arrest of two children of the owner of a computer-based test (CBT) centre, who was alleged to have confessed of selling fake UTME questions to unsuspecting candidates who want are seeking to write the examination. The centre – Risk Global Company Limited, which is located on 300, Ikorodu Road, Anthony Village, is owned by a former banker, Emeka Ukpai.

JAMB 2019: Why We Have Not Released JAMB Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Wednesday through its Head of Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, has explained why it had not released the results of the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). According to him, some candidates who wrote the examination engaged in massive fraud and impersonation, putting their results in doubt.

He says the board has started screening the results of all the candidates who wrote the examination and would release them as soon as it finished the exercise.

 

Failed JAMB: Write IJMB To Gain Admission Into 200 Level Without JAMB

 

IJMB has revealed that once you failed JAMB is not necessary that you should site down and home for the next year as it is not over, IJMB Alevel REgistration reveals. It says many candidates wait for another year for JAMB instead of just of writing JAMB alternatives like IJMB, JUPEB or Cambridge Alevel in other to gain admission into Nigerian universities without JAMB.

WAEC: How A Teacher Find Himself In Court Over Malpractice In 2019 Examination

The Ikeja Magistrates Court In Lagos State charges Oluwasegun Adegoke to court over Malpractice in 2019 West Africa Examination Council, WAEC. Olusegun Adegoke happened to be a teacher at a private school in Agege and was caught for sending WAEC answers to the student through an online platform, NIGERIA NEWS reports.

The Police inspector, Innocent Odugbo relay to the court that Olusegun was caught in examination malpractice act on 17th of May, 2019 at the school.

The teacher committed the crime by sending scanned answer booklet to students via Whatsapp in which he was caught by finding the answer booklet on the internet and was reported to WAEC.

The Inspector further describe the scenario of how Olusegun was arrested:

“On tracing the school, it was discovered that the defendant posted it.

“The case was reported and the defendant was arrested,”

The crime is punishable by provisions of section 324(3)of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015 and he should be charged to 10 years imprisonment. He pleaded not guilty and the Magistrate, Mrs. Emeka Opara offered Olusegun to pay a fine of 50 thousand naira along with two sureties

The offence, he said, contravened the provisions of section 324(3)of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the section prescribes 10 years jail term for unlawfully assisting a candidate in the course of an examination.

Following his plea of not guilty, Magistrate Mrs. Emeka Opara, admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties to undertake for him. The two sureties must be an employee and must put forward to the court the tax payment evidence to the Lagos state government. However, the court proceeding is adjourned to 26th of June, 2019.

Students can easily pass Agricultural Science question and answers if they can study well. So, Therefore there will be no use in looking out for “WAEC Agricultural Science Expo”. The exam is divided into 2 parts:

Paper 1 (objective)

This paper contains 50 objective questions. Without doubt, questions from objective parts are easy for students that have studied well. This part will be 50 marks.

Paper 2 (essay)
