President Muhammadu Buhari Continues His Tour Of 5 States, Arrives Jos For Plateau Visit
In a continuation of his scheduled visits to 5 violence-hit States, President Muhammadu Buhari has this afternoon arrived in the Jos, the capital of Plateau State.
President Buhari is expected to be in the Middlebelt state for two days on a working visit.
Flown by a Nigerian Air Force Aircraft 5N-FGW, President Buhari touched down at the Yakubu Gowon Airport in Jos at about 11:55am local time.
A welcome contingent comprising of the State Governor, Simon Lalong, and Senators Jonah Jang and Joshua Dariye were on hand to receive him.
Other important political personalities from the National Assembly and representatives from different political parties in the state were also at the Airport to welcome the President.
