David De Gea Calls Real Madrid On Phone After Champions League Elimination
Manchester United shot-stopper David De Gea has reportedly put a call through to Real Madrid for a deal with La Liga giants Real Madrid.
Don Balon report that the 27-year-old De Gea made a phone call to push for a move to Real Madrid in the summer.
The second place on the Premier League table were crashed out of the Champions League on Tuesday, March 12, by Sevilla at Old Trafford and the former Atletico Madrid keeper is considering his future in the club.
De Gea is desperate to fight for titles in the remainder of his career and wants a move to the Bernabeu as a result.
Spanish number one now wants to leave United as he feels his chances of winning silverware are not as high as they should be.
According to Spanish outlet Don Balon, De Gea is fed up at Old Trafford and finally wants to push through a move to Real following the clubs lack of trophies this season.
The Spain international almost join the Los Blancos in 2015 but for a late fax scuppering the deal.
Manchester United keeper has been in superb form this season, keeping 19 clean sheets in all competitions.
