Troops Sack Port Harcourt Police Station, Arrest DPO Over Alleged Killing Of Their Colleague
Military personnel have reportedly stormed a Nigerian Police station in Port Harcourt, Rivers state capital over the alleged killing of their operative by a policeman.
NIGERIA NEWS notes that the aggrieved soldiers stormed Ada George Road in Port Harcourt on Thursday morning, May 17 as they sacked the Rumukpakani Police Station, in the state.
The murdered soldier, who was in mufti, was said to have been shot near the Police station by one of the policemen on duty.
The report gathered that the unfortunate incident forced a group of angry soldiers to storm the Police station and arrested the Divisional Police Officer and the murder suspect.
