Sanchez In, Mkhitaryan Out In New Manchester United UEFA Champions League Squad Released By Mourinho
There has been expected changes in the Manchester United Squad for the knockout stages of this year’s UEFA Champions League.
After the Old Trafford side completed a swap deal with Arsenal for Alexis Sanchez at Mkhitaryan’s expense the faithful at the Theatre of Dreams were sure expecting to see the new No. 7 light up the stage in the knockout phase of Europe’s premier cup competition.
Thus, the Red Devils manager, Jose Mourinho has included Sanchez in his 29-man squad and subsequently removed Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Another forward player who has been included in the squad is Swedish Striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic who has so far made a come back to the team, after being laid off with injury, and also survived the January transfer window following rumours he might be moving to the MLS in America.
Fans of the 20-time English Champions will get the first opportunity to see Sanchez in the Champions League when Sevilla come visiting the Old Trafford for their Round of 16 Clash.
