Muslims Celebrate The Cancellation Of Prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) Cartoon

Muslim worshippers were thrown into an elated mood on Thursday following the cancellation of the cartoon of Prohet Mohammed (PBUH) by a Dutch legislator.

The decision was as a result of an ongoing plan to draw the caricature of the Prophet, an act which perceived by the Muslims as a blasphemy against the Holy Prophet.

As gathered by NIGERIA NEWS from reports, Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan, a political party that supports blasphemy laws, ended it already ongoing protest shortly after the announcement was made in Netherlands.

Cancelling the protest, the party leader, Pir Afzal Qadri said: “We will disperse now.” This was after he announced the cancellation to the protesters who all exalted the name of Allah by shouting “Allah-o-Akbar.”

He further addressed the protesters as he noted that the announcement is a great victory for all Muslims across the globe.

Quoting Qadri, “This is our victory. This is a great day for the entire Muslim world. We have stopped infidels from disrespecting our prophet.”

The Pakistani Government also expresses its opinion over the announcement.

The opinion was relayed by the Pakistan Information Minister, Fawad Chaudhry via his Twitter account.

According to Chaudhry, “great victory for the Pakistani government and the people.” “Long live love for prophet.”
