The IPOB made this allegation yesterday as the group also revealed that all the killings happening in the country had earlier been predicted by the  IPOB leader.

The group further threatened that solutions would not be found to the incessant killing unless their leader regains his freedom.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Comrade Emma Powerful, Media and Publicity Secretary for IPOB  made the revelation on the prediction by Kanu, according to him, the IPOB leader had through Radio Biafra which was being operated from London predicted what would happen to Nigeria.

Speaking further, Powerful said: “It should be noted that when Buhari was crying his eyes out and agonizing over whether   to run for presidency for the umpteenth time; at a time when grazing reserves and cattle ranching had not even entered the lexicon of political discourse in Nigeria, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu via Radio Biafra broadcasting from London foretold what is to befall Nigeria.”

“As they campaigned vigorously for elections, you would think, they are coming to grow the economy, enthrone justice, breed unity and tolerance, love for one another. No! they are coming to enthrone Hausa/Fulani supremacy, to reposition the security agencies by sacking all competent hands and replace them with their kinsmen in order to drive their ethnic domination of the south.”

According to information gathered by NIGERIA NEWS, Powerful alleges many Nigerians were against the agitation of the Biafrans which he described as an agitation to liberate the Igbos.

In his words “When IPOB came with their message of freedom and hope, some people, probably misguided by sponsored propaganda against Biafra due to their dependency on oil and gas, came up with the narrative that IPOB was preaching hate and would cause another civil war.”

“What those that bought into the Aso Rock lies never knew was that war had already been declared by marauding terrorists under the false cover of herdsmen/farmer clash. This blatant misrepresentation is still being propagated by BBC, Bloomberg, CNN and their likes, hence the lack of urgency from the international community in tackling the menace.”

Powerful further threatened that as long as Kanu continued to remain in the custody of the federal government, the country would continue to witness killings.

Quoting him, “The feudal lords are not remotely worried over their open declaration and execution of a deadly covert war on the people of Middle Belt and the rest of Southern Nigeria. This same fate shall befall all Nigerians unless Nnamdi Kanu is released from military detention to lead the people to freedom and safety.”
