Emerging report claimed that Boko Haram insurgents have launched a fresh attack on a military base in Baga, Kukawa local government area of Borno state.
NIGERIA NEWS notes that the recent attack occurred barely twenty-four (24) hours after the insurgents attacked Gudumbali area, a town in the Guzamala local government area of the state.
The report has it that after the attack on Gudumbali, on Saturday, September 8, the blood-thirsty terrorists proceeded to Baga on Sunday, September 9, and launched another attack on the army formation.
According to a tweet by Ahmad Salkida, an independent investigator said the number of casualties on both sides is yet to be ascertained.
When attention was on #ISWAP attack on Guzamala yesterday, the group staged another daring attack on a military facility in Baga, Kukawa, on the shores of the #LakeChad. I’m not here to argue about military casualties, I’m concerned with the implications of these growing attacks?
