With about 16 days to the Osun governorship election, Gboyega Oyetola, the immediate chief of staff to the Osun state governor, has been described by Governor Rauf Aregbesola, as the most suitable and qualified candidate to take from him the baton of Osun state leadership after the September 22 gubernatorial election in the state.
NIGERIA NEWS gathers that Ogbeni Aregbesola made the remark at Ooni of Ife palace in Ile-Ife during a courtesy visit to the king’s palace to kick-off the campaign of Oyetola for the coming election in the state.

Recall that Oyetola emerged the flag-bearer for the coming guber election after a tough battle with over ten candidates jostling to succeed Aregbesola.
According to the Governor of Omoluabi state: “Oyetola has justified his capacity and capability as a man of impeccable character and worthwhile personality who remains dogged and forthright to all policies that had impacted positively the lives of the citizens.”
“We are not in doubt about Oyetola’s competence and ability. He is calm and much more reserved. He knows the job and he will serve our people. He will advance the development programme of our party.”
In his own remark, Oyetola said if he emerges victorious in the coming election, the priority of his government will be built on people’s welfare. He also said he will work towards an advanced traditional institution, culture and tourism of the state.
The first class paramount ruler, Oba Ogunwusi Enitan applauded Ogbeni Aregbesola for what he has done for the state, adding that the governor has demonstrated what a leadership built on trust should be.
