Chibok girls: Shettima blows hot over claims in Jonathan’s book [Full text]

Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima has accused former President Goodluck Jonathan of deliberately omitting an investigative report submitted to him in June 2014, by the presidential facts-finding committee he constituted in May 2014 on circumstances surrounding the April 14, 2014 Chibok girls’ abduction.

Shettima spoke in reaction to chapter four of Jonathan’s book “My Transition hours”, titled “The Chibok school girls affair”, launched on Tuesday in Abuja.

Ekweremadu, South East Governors meet Buhari behind closed-doors

DSS arrests kidnappers, B/Haram medic

The Department of State Service (DSS) said its personnel, in a joint operation with the military, arrested one Yusuf Salisu, alleged medic for kidnappers and Boko Haram insurgents.

The suspect was arrested on November 9, 2019, at Sabon Birni Village, Igabi LGA, Kaduna State, DSS spokesman, Peter Afunanya said in a statement yesterday.
