1. Nigeria decides 2019: Early list of governors-elect from Saturday, March 9 poll
The 2019 election has already produced ten governors-elect as the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, continue with the collation and announcement of results.
Nigeria News has compiled list of governors elected so far from the March 9 governorship and State Assembly elections.

2. Ethiopia Airline: Shehu Sani reacts to death of Pius Adesanmi, 148 passengers
Shehu Sani, the lawmaker representing Kaduna Central senatorial district in the National Assembly, has expressed sadness over the death of Pius Adesanmi, popular Nigerian professor and columnist, alongside 149 passengers and eight crew members involved in the Ethiopian Airliner plane crash.
DAILY POST had reported that the airline announced that there were no survivors on its flight ET302 which crashed on Sunday en route Nairobi from Addis Ababa.

Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie has expressed sadness over the death of Pius Adesanmi, popular Nigerian professor and columnist, who died alongside 149 other passengers and eight crew members involved the Ethiopian Airliner plane crash.
Nigeria News had reported that the airline announced that there were no survivors on its flight ET302 which crashed on Sunday en route Nairobi from Addis Ababa.
The airline said the 149 passengers and eight crew members on board the B-737-800MAX with registration number ET- AVJ, all died in the crash.
4. Enugu Decides: Ayogu Eze cannot determine for APC – Party Chieftain, Ude
The pioneer Deputy Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Enugu State, Comrade Adolphus Ude has faulted Senator Ayogu Eze for kicking against his representation of the party as its agent during the collation of gubernatorial results in the State.
DAILY POST reports that Ude was the APC agent during the result collation at the Enugu INEC office. However, Senator Eze kicked against it, noting that Ude was not there for him.
But in a statement made available to DAILY POST, Ude also said Senator Eze erred when he claimed to have boycotted the election.
5. Ekiti Decides: Fayemi reacts to APC victory
Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti has said that the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state is a call to those elected and the party to embark on quality service and performance in office.
The governor said this on Sunday at the Government House Chapel, Ado Ekiti, during a special church service held in honour of the newly elected federal and state lawmakers in the state.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that APC won all the three Senate, six House of Representatives and 24 State House of Assembly seats in Ekiti.
6.Nigeria decides: INEC releases results from 10 LGAs in Zamfara
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won the governorship election in the 10 local government areas so far announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Zamfara.
According to the results declared on Sunday in Gusau by the State Returning Officer, Prof. Kabiru Bala, the APC is leading with 356,971, followed by the People Democratic Party (PDP) which scored 131,710 votes.
Other parties in the contest are the National Rescue Movement (NRM) and All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).
7.Absconded Collation Officer will not be paid – REC
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said it would not pay a Collation Officer for Saturday’s Governorship and House of Assembly elections in Cross River, who absconded.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in the state, Dr Frankland Briyai, made this known on Monday in Calabar, while speaking with newsmen after the declaration of results of the pols.

Adelabu said his party, APC, was still studying the incidents of violence and reported electoral malpractices during the election, saying it will determine the next line of action.

Gov Samuel Ortom of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), is edging towards victory with 317,730 votes from the results of the Governorship polls in 19 Local Government Areas of Benue.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the results were announced by different Collation Officers for the local government areas in Makurdi.
10. How Gov Emmanuel defeated Akpabio anointed candidate, Nsima Ekere
The Akwa Ibom State governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has won the gubernatorial elections in the state, defeating Nsima Ekere, the candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, who was backed by the former governor of the state, Godswill Akpabio.
Emmanuel who won with a wide margin in majority of the 30 out of the 31 local government areas polled 519, 712 votes to defeat his rival, Ekere of the APC who has 171, 978 votes.
