Dakwambo To Buhari, Nigerians Needs More Work Than Prayers

The Governor of Gombe State, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has disagreed with President Muhammadu Buhari over his claim that Nigerians should commit themselves to Prayers in the wake of the wanton killings across the country.

NIGERIA NEWS recalls that Buhari had on Tuesday when he visited Plateau State to condole with victims over the recent killing of over 150 persons by Fulani herdsmen in 11 communities of Barkin-Ladi and Riyom Local Government Areas of the state, had urged Nigerians to commit to prayers.

Buhari said “There is nothing I can do to help the situation except to pray to God to help us out of the security challenges. What has happened is a very bad thing. The bottom line is that justice must be allowed to take its course.

Reacting to the statement, Dankwambo in a tweet through his official twitter handle noted that Nigerians need more work than action. “Nigerians have prayed enough. The reason you elected us is to solve your problems. Nigeria needs more work than prayers. Our nation needs leaders who solve problems and not engage in blame games”. He tweeted.
