The presidency via the Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, has claimed that main reason the former President of Nigeria is upset with Buhari is that the current administration headed by the president is fixing the power sector Obasanjo was unable to fix with huge treasury amounting to about 16 billion dollars.
Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, has stated that former president, Olusegun Obasanjo is angry with her principal because Buhari is fixing the power Obasanjo failed to fix after collecting $16bn from Nigerian treasury.
The presidency made the revelation after the recent ‘ fights’ between Obasanjo and Buhari
NIGERIA NEWS reported that Buhari made up revelation while welcoming the Buhari Support Organization which is being headed by Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Hameed Ali, on Tuesday, asked what was Obasanjo was able to do with the 16 billion dollars that was meant to solve Nigeria epileptic power problem.
But Onochie while reacting on Twitter said all Nigerians should come up with one voice and demands Obasanjo explanation on how he spent the allocated fund for power.
“It’s now a clear choice between Pres. Buhari & a coalition of past corrupt leaders coordinated by ex-Pres Obasanjo.
“He failed to answer a simple question posed by our President who inherited a nation in darkness. Buhari is fixing Nigeria with improved power supply and Obasanjo is angry.
“Join the ‘Big Question’, after Spending $16 billion, Not Naira, Obasanjo #WhereIsThePower.
“Join the President and other Nigerians to ask the same question.” she wrote.
