In a Swift Response, Oliseh Hits Back At Fortuna Sittard
Former Super Eagles Sunday Oliseh has knocked Dutch side Fortuna Sittard for relieving him of his duty as the head coach of the club, stressing that the decision was as a result of his refusal to participate in illegal activities at the club.
Nigeria News had previously reported that Fortuna Sittard through a statement on its website on Wednesday, disclosed that it has now parted ways with the Oliseh.
The Clubside said the decision was as a result of the “repeatedly culpable actions for a longer period by the trainer (Oliseh) towards several persons in the organization.”
The Dutch side noted that “Several attempts by the club to move the trainer to other behavior were unfortunately without result, resulting in an unworkable situation.”
“Because of his inadmissible actions, the coach has made the cooperation with many people within the organization impossible. From players to employees. Fortuna Sittard regrets the decision, but states that the club interest goes above all else.”
But in a swift rebuttal through his twitter handle @sundayooliseh, he disagreed with the Club, saying it was due to his refusal to participate in illegal activities at Fortuna Sittard, and violate the law that led to the harmer.
“Due to my refusal to participate in illegal activities at Fortuna Sittard, and violate the law, I have been suspended from my duties as coach by the foreign owners of Fortuna. Unfortunate for the lovely fans, my players & our hard-fought phenomenal positioning for promotion,’’
