The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has denied every allegation that he is at war with the Governor of Bauchi State.
Oshiomhole made this known when Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar paid him a visit at his residence.
NIGERIA NEWS gathered this from reports made available by the governor’s Adviser on Media and Strategy, Ali Mohammed Ali which states that, “His major concern was the victory of the APC at all levels.”
“My main concern is the electoral victory of the party at all levels. I have no issues with you, your Excellency. My concern is winning the coming elections, especially the presidential. We want to win more states and more legislators. I have faith in you,” said Oshiomhole.
According to Abubakar, “he was returning his governorship nomination and expression of interest forms at the party’s national secretariat.”
Abubakar, therefore, sought “the support of the APC National Chairman, describing him as a father and a mentor.”
Reports reveal that, “The Governor was accompanied by members of the national and state Assembly, members of the State Executive Council and top party stalwarts.”
