Ahead of the primary elections of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hassan Ibrahim Dankwambo, the governor of Gombe state and presidential aspirant has questioned politicians who left in 2015 and recently joined the party ahead of the 2019 elections.
Dankwambo questioned if there would have been a party to return to if all party stakeholders had all quitted the PDP in 2015.
The governor who did not mention any name threw the shade in a tweet on Thursday, September 13.
If we had all abandoned PDP in 2015, would there have been a party to return to now? #GoingBeyondPromises

Meanwhile, there are suggestions that Dankwambo could be referring to former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, Senate president, Bukola Saraki and Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto state who recently defected to the PDP and are hoping to clinch the party’s presidential ticket.
In an earlier report, NIGERIA NEWS had reported that OYF revealed what Nigerians should expect if Senate President Bukola Saraki emerged as the next president to succeed president Buhari come 2019 election.
