This directive of the Presidency, as gathered by NIGERIA NEWS is coming few days after the former boss of the DSS, Lawal Daura was sacked for ordering some of his officers to lay siege on the National Assembly.
According to reports, the DSS men who were heavily armed blocked the entrance of the National Assembly preventing lawmakers, reporters and other staff from gaining access to the building.

A source in the presidency according to reports disclosed that the Acting President has given his full support to both agencies to ensure that those involved are made to produce the money and brought to justice.
Recalled that part of the money which total $289 million which was supposedly given to the NIA was recovered in an apartment in Ikoyi area of Lagos.
The money was said to have been handed over to the DSS but nothing has been heard about it since then.
This made the EFCC to commenced an investigation into it last year, but the sacked boss of the DSS had frustrated the effort of the EFCC by asking his officers to chase out its officials who have come to inquire about the money.
Speaking on the directives of the Acting President, the source said: “It is in connection with the recovery of the huge cash that the Acting President met twice with the acting heads of DSS and EFCC for two consecutive days and ordered them to work together in order to trace and recover the money from whoever might have taken a penny out of it.”
“You can see that the two heads are actually moving to actualise the directive of the presidency and Nigerians will soon hear of the outcome of the synergy between the two agencies headed by Magu and Seiyefa.”
