Controversial radio host and social media personnel Ifedayo Olarinde famously known as Daddy Freeze has taken to his Twitter page to reveal how a fight broke out in a church over the request by a pastor church members asking them to give a tithe of one thousand dollars each so he can pay for his Rolls Royce.
Speaking with Fox reporter in the video was the leader of the protesters who claimed that black pastors are found of asking for huge amount of money as tithe or offerings in the church of God.
The leader further claimed that the pastor in question had asked started from $1,000 after which he reduced the tithe to $300.
He also claimed that the pastor opined that the church has an ATM machine close by for those who do not have cash on them.
His requests however angered some members of the congregation who stood up in protest.
Black pastors were also accused of living in large houses and driving exotic cars without even giving back to their society.
Recalled that Daddy Freeze is notable for criticising clerics over the issue of tithe and offering.
In the tweet, Daddy Freeze wrote: This is exactly what Jesus did
Mat 21:13, “He said to them, “The Scriptures declare, ‘My Temple will be called a house of prayer,’ but you have turned it into a den of thieves!”
“ Jesus made a whip from some ropes and chased them all out of the Temple.”
