APC solution to Insecurity

The Action Democratic Party (ADP), an opposition to he Ruling APC has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to sack all service chiefs as a way of reducing as well as ending the growing Insecurity in the country.

Among these chiefs that should be sacked according to ADP are:

  • Chief of Defense Staff, General Abayomi Gabriel Olonisakin
  • Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen. T.Y. Buratai
  • Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral IE Ibas
  • Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar

NIGERIA NEWS had earlier reported that many lives are being lost in Nasarawa state today as armed bandits go on a rampage.

In response to the current spate of nationwide killings, Sani Yabagi, the National Chairman of the party, argued that no one would need to have a supervisor of an organization under which the business records low turnover.

His statement reads:

“On the issue of insecurity, I think we know why it has become so embarrassing,” he said at a presser in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

“We cannot be doing the same thing and be expecting different results. You cannot retain the same service chiefs in the same positions and expect a different result.

“These men have done it many times and nothing has worked. If it were to be your private company where you recorded a low turnover, will you continue with the same manager?

“This President should know more than all of us that to boost the morale of the force is something that is important.

“They are profiteering with people’s blood. You won’t believe the amount of money going into security.

“If insecurity is man-made, then we are the ones fueling it. The President knows what to do as a former Head of State.”
