Opposition PDP Holds Mega Rally In Jigawa State
Secondus-led Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held a mega rally in Dutse, Jigawa state, on Monday, March 12, 2018.
The opposition party’s stakeholders, PDP national chairman, Uche Secondus, and former chairman, Ahmed Makarfi were all in attendance at the mega rally.
Meanwhile, after the Gombe state governor, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, shared pictures of the rally on his Facebook page, Nigerians stormed his comment section to give their views on the rally.
Below are some of the reactions from Nigerians:
Onorakpene Eviosekwofa wrote: “Rallies like this should be replicated across non-PDP states throughout the nation. Without adverts, products have minimal entry-level recognition. The PDP must reposition itself through rallies and emboss its name into the memory of the masses of each APC state in Nigeria.”
Jibril Khalil Jibraan wrote: “Many people will vote for Dankwambo if he contests. I pray he wins to recover this country from misrule of the newbies APC. Sir, u need to consult widely and reach a consensus before presenting yourself, so that your impact will be felt.
“We need younger ones with experience at both state and federal levels in this new movement for a new Nigeria come 2019. We are with you your Excellency.”
Mahmud Abubakar wrote: “Change the change PDP. I often wonder what kind of people Nigeria have? Would you please tell me what PDP offered to Nigeria when they were in power for 16years.”
Jonathan Larry wrote: “What a crowd!.Indeed Nigerians want to change the change!.PDP should not abuse the trust of Nigerians when voted into power in 2019.”
