The police in Marana arrested a bride-to-be in Arizona on her wedding day for driving under the influence of alcohol.
A joyous day was turned into a sad day for Amber Young who is aged 32 as she was nabbed by police officers for causing an accident.
Information gathered by Nigeria News revealed that the accident involved three cars and one of the victims of the accident is being hospitalised. The accident was said to have occurred around 10:30 a.m on Monday.
The police arrested Amber who was fully dressed in a beautiful wedding gown and handcuffed for Driving Under the Influence of Alchohol (DUI).
Amber Young was however released to her husband to be after she agreed to a blood test meant to determine her level of intoxication.
A police officer, Sgt. Chriswell Scott attached to the Marana Police Department said she was also made to sign a criminal citation for DUI before her release.
In the words of the police officer who acknowledged that the day would have been one of the most joyous days of Amber’s life, “This could’ve turned out way worse than it did.”
“It’s supposed to be the happiest day of her life, and this just goes out as a reminder as to why you should never drive while impaired.”
