The controversies, confrontations and banters trailing the marriage of popular Nollywood star Regina Daniels took a new twist as the uncle of the teenager and her mum exchange heated words on Facebook.

The father of the star, Jude Ojeogwu posted on his Facebook timeline and this generated several comments from Facebook users. His uncle later took to his Facebook timeline asking Ned Nwoke to do the needful sparking hot exchange between Daniels’s mother, Rita Daniels Chukwuji and uncle, Ojeogwu Tony Molanto.

Mallanto wrote, “Hon Ned Nwoko,Idumuje Ugboko town and all Deltans should take note, the coast is clear. That is Barrister Jude Ojeogwu the Father of Regina Daniels Ojeogwu speaking.Hon Ned and Family do the needful.

“Regina daniel Ojeogwu is my biological daughter. What ever is ongoing is not to my knowledge and without my consent. The fact speaks for itself looking at the picture. Her mother Rita daniel is threading on a dangerous path and I hope she will retrace her steps. Even the initiation ceremony into otu odu appears completely strange to Regina daniel Ojeogwu.

“Regina is from ogwashi uku and not from olor as being rumored. All the opportunities for Mr Ned nwoko to discuss with me proved abortive not realising that we once lived in the same house in awoyokun street, onikpan, Lagos. The implication of all this is that she inpregnated herself. The name Regina was my late mother’s name. I have tried to exercise restraint but Regina mother kept pushing me to wall. Am alive and not dead. If in doubt of this post call Barrister Jude Ojeogwu on 08033039058

Rita Daniels in a comment to his post wrtote, “Where were the Ojeogwu’s when I started life with my children in an uncompleted building in UMUONAJE, ASABA??

“Ojeogwu Tony Molanto TONY!, you too talking about family?? Where you not also rejected by your Father?? Has your mother’s bride price been paid till now? You that forced your self to be recognized by your Ojeogwu you claimed today?? Have you forgotten how I played a major role in your life? Let me save the rest till another day.

In a recent post, Molanto posted pictures of himself and his brother’s children to counter the claim by Rita that he did check on them.

He wrote, “Iyawoo RITA many yrs ago when I came to visit you at Asaba in that kpangolo House all to see my Brothers children, Law, REGINA,Sammy and Destiny have you made that BILLIONS OF MONEY THEN?.HOW OLD WAS REGINA the Millionaire?.I know what came out of my pocket,is this the kind of GRA Millionaires stay(Look at the back ground).Tell the world is a photo shop. LIE again. You talk of my Mum that is million times better than you and you Mum, thunder go Fire you. No be marriage I go invite as usual”

Kemi Olunloyo calls out to Naira Marley over attack on Ruggedman In London (VIDEO)

She wrote:

Marlians, be guided. Don’t be part of this. Violence is not the answer to anything. My whole family almost got killed yesterday because of cash, gadgets and jewelry. My son @richkjtmusic lost all his devices and studio equipment. We were beaten, my 79yo mom tortured at gunpoint.

My #ptsd heightened, my family too now. Nobody needs to be attacked for advocacy or freedom of expression. I support @nairamarleybut not supporting assaulting @ruggedybaba. Sorry, Ruggedman. Young ppl don’t take your foolishness to foreign countries. God bless the Naira, Nigeria, and everyone.

She was everything to me, Sotayogaga lauds late mum

Sotayogaga

Popular Yoruba actor and producer, Tayo Sobola has revealed the weird feeling before the news of her mother’s death was broken to her.

Tayo, who is popularly known as Sotayogaga, was thrown into a mournful mood last month when she lost her mum.

Speaking with Saturday Beats, Tayo described her late mother as everything to her.

“My mum was everything to me; she was my confidant, even though we fought a lot. I was filming when I heard the news of her death, but prior to that time, I had a weird feeling and I was crying; people thought I was acting.

“I was extremely cold and I was standing by my car before I received the call from my sister, telling me my mum was gone. I drove all the way to her house by myself.”

Tayo who expressed delight that she was able to discuss a lot of things with her before she passed on said she still couldn’t believe that her mum is gone.

“I didn’t think there was any need to delay the final burial date because it wasn’t like we were trying to raise money to do it. I lost my dad in 2005 and till date, I still cry over that. Though few days have passed, I still don’t want to believe that my mum is gone. I have buried a couple of people in my life but I still ask myself if she is actually dead. Even during the burial, I still couldn’t believe she was dead. I just try to console myself to stay strong,” she said.

Speaking on some of the values her mum instilled in her as a young girl, Tayo said she was taught to always mind her business and avoid living a fake life.

“Many people think I am a strict person; the truth is that was how I used to look at my mum before she died. She built and shaped me to the person I am today.

“My mum taught me to believe in myself, to be content and stay in my lane. She also taught me to forgive easily, and avoid living a fake life.

“I was trained to be careful with the people around me. My mother never allowed us to visit people, I will always live with what she impacted in me,” she added.
