If You Attempt To Rig Ekiti Election, There Will Be Crisis – Secondus
The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Uche Secondus, has warned that there would be a crisis in Ekiti if the forthcoming governorship election is rigged. He made this known during the flag-off ceremony of the PDP’s Local Government election campaign in Port-Harcourt.
He stated that there is unity in the party to take over governance in 2019 from the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) led government with the help of Nigerians.
“If you attempt to rig in Ekiti State, there will be crisis. We don’t know if there will be Nigeria after that. Our security agencies and INEC should not be deceived into rigging elections.”
“We are bold to say it because you cannot take the peoples rights, you cannot deny them of their votes and we are saying and we want APC to say the same that it will be one man, one vote, one woman, one vote, one youth, one vote.”
“We will never allow an evil individual to destroy this nation or to destroy our state. If you like wait for us, we refuse to be intimidated. We are marching forward to win the election at the national level in 2019,” he said.
