Tech News Today: Google Rescind Its Decision On Banning Huawei

The NIGERIA NEWS gathered a report that states that the United State of America, U.S.A government avert the restriction on a China’s company, Huawei. However, due to these changes in USA policy, Google then hopes to work with the company over 90 days period.

Google proposed on Sunday to rescind its decision in partnering with Huawei. This is due to Google’s perception to incline to Washington DC decision to include Huawei on a distinct list.

The USA commerce department issues a statement, giving both companies, Google and Huawei 9o day license to keep cordiality and work to keep the existing network more proactive and security from cybercrime.

A Google representative talked to CNBC on Tuesday that:

“Keeping phones up to date and secure is in everyone’s best interests and this temporary license allows us to continue to provide software updates and security patches to existing models for the next 90 days,”

The USA commerce department is also contemplating on the extension of the license between the two companies above 90 days. As of a week ago, about 69 companies with Huawei inclusive are blacklisted, preventing the Chinese company to have any transaction in the USA.

The USA government restrict the companies based on the fact that their operation does not comply with the best interest of the USA policy. On Monday, there issued a temporary authorization to give way for security bridges and for the Chinese mobile giant, Huawei to be part of the improvement of the 5G network for future purpose.

Atiku Abubakar Is Not A Threat To Democracy But Believes In The Rule Of Law - Paul Ibe

The Presidential Candidate for the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in the last Nigeria Presidential Election, Atiku Abubakar recently states that he saw a signal to be arrested, NIGERIA NEWS reports.

However, Atiku media spokesperson, Paul Ibe states this on Sunday.

Besides, the accusation of Atiku about the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC conduct of the election, he is tagged to be a threat to the current administration.

His Spokesperson is quoted saying, “I wish to emphatically state that such a statement did not emanate from Atiku Abubakar or his privies.

“It is the work of mischief makers who want to mar his spotless pro-democratic record and lay the groundwork for their threatened actions against him on false charges of being a threat to national security.

“For the avoidance of doubt, Atiku Abubakar believes in the rule of law and in the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. In his almost four decades in politics, he has never taken action or spoken words against democracy and will not start now.

“Atiku Abubakar and his team have confidence in God and thus call on those bent on mischief to have the fear of God and retrace their steps.

Ibe then finally stated that:

“Democracy has come to stay in Nigeria. The culture of fear being created now cannot rein in our democracy. Nigeria and Nigerians have a consistent history of outlasting tyranny and will continue to do so by the grace of God.”
