1. Funke Akindele – $4 million

 

Funke Akindele tops the list of the 10 richest actresses so far in this year 2018. She is among one of the highest paid and collects as much as 2million per movie role. She currently has a movie show with the name “Jenifa’s Diary”, this show is a massive hit. A couple of brands she has represented and still representing includes: Globacom Ng, Vita Foam, Klin detergent, Qlichy.com, OMO, Maggi, 1960bet, Jobberman.com.

2. Genevieve Nnaji – $3.7 million

 

Genevieve Nnaji is a fashions designer, businesswoman, singer and has appeared in over 80 Nollywood movies

Some of her most lucrative endorsement deals before and present includes Omo detergent, Pronto Beverage, Lux, Range Rover Evogue and MUD Nigeria, Cintrion Energy drink,  Etisalat, Amstel Malta, Polo, MUD cosmetics.

3. Omotola Jalade – $3.6 million

Omotola is one of the first African celebrities to have reached more than 1 million Facebook fans.

The actress, singer, and model is very popular and she is an ambassador to many huge brands in Nigeria. She charges at least 2million Naira per movie.

4.Mercy Johnson – $3.4 million

Mercy reportedly charged as much as 3million Naira per movie in 2016.

She has also invested in properties and reportedly owns several landed properties in Lagos.

Mercy as of the moment is a really big brand in Nollywood, while in  2016 ranking according to T.I.N Magazine she was the most famous actor in Nigeria.

5.Kate Henshaw – $3 million

Africa Movie Academy Awards winner, Kate Henshaw-Nuttall has featured in over 40 Nollywood movies to her name; Kate has endorsed companies like The Face of Onga, Glo. Kate is obviously one of the richest personalities in Nollywood while her income is diversified.

6.Rita Dominic $2.8 million

Rita has about 200 Nollywood movies credit. Nokia and Glo are part of her endorsement deals. She is an actress, a businesswoman, and a model. Rita reportedly owns fixed assets worth more than N40 million, $240,000 – this includes two homes and landed properties.

7. Ini Edo – $2.5 million

Ini Edo is a producer and director, with almost 200 movies. Ini owns over six buildings. With endorsements deals like Glo Nigeria. Ini became United Nations Habitat Youth Envoy.

8. Monalisa Chinda – $1.8 million

Monalisa owns properties  in Lagos, Rivers State, an entrepreneur and also earns quite huge from brand endorsements, especially in the cosmetics segment, and she also has an endorsement deal with Glo Ng.

9. Uche Jombo $1.2 million

Uche is an actress that has featured in lots of movies. She has endorsement deal with Glo. Producing some hit movies has helped her career financially.

10. Patience Ozokwor (Mama G) – $1million

Patience charges quite high to feature in movies. She has endorsement deals with several brands, especially in eastern Nigeria.
