Luis Enrique Sets To Succeed Chelsea Boss Antonio Conte
Former Barcelona coach Luis Enrique has reportedly agreed to a deal with the Blues to replace Italian-born Antonio Conte at Chelsea.
El Confidencial reports that Enrique has settled terms with Chelsea to succeed Antonio Conte at the end of this season.
They also suggested that Chelsea’s board could no longer tolerate Conte’s constant criticism of this season transfer policy.
The 47-year-old Enrique stepped down from Spanish club Barca last summer and decided to take a year off from football before returning to the game next term.
Luis who had previously worked in Italy and Spain has favoured a move to England – and recent reports coming from Spain suggest he will be the next manager at the Stamford Bridge.
