Emergency Unit Rushed Rick Ross To Hospital, Placed Him On Life Support
American rapper Rick Ross has reportedly been hospitalized in Florida after he was found unresponsive and is reportedly on life support.
TMZ reports that the international rapper, William Leonard Roberts II, popularly known as Rick Ross, had a heart attack and has been put on life support to function in replacement for his heart and lungs.
Report gathered that the professional rapper was put on ECMO also known as extracorporeal membrane oxygenation.
ECMO is used to oxygenate blood outside the body, before its pumped back into the body.
The American rapper, Rick Ross was reportedly discovered unresponsive on Thursday morning, March 1, by the emergency unit after a 911 call was placed.
A police spokesperson disclosed that he was breathing heavily by the time the emergency unit arrived at his residence at 3:43 am
A dispatch report stated that in 2011, the 42-year-old rapper had suffered a pair of seizures within a span of six hours.
The rapper who weighed 350 pounds had announced that he started to live a healthy life style after he lost 75 pounds in 2016.
In an interview, he said: “I’m still losing weight, and now I’m starting to build hard muscle in places.”
