Nigeria Recalls Arsenal FC’s Alex Iwobi For Crucial Game Against Zambia
The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Tuesday recalled young Arsenal forward, Alex Iwobi to join the squad ahead of next month’s crucial 2018 World Cup qualifier against major group rivals Zambia.

Before now, the Super Eagles team, the 21-year-old had been ruled out of the double-header against the Cameroon earlier on in the month with a thigh strain, but he should be fit for the next game in Uyo on October 7.
The Super Eagles are currently on the top of Group B with 10 points, next to which are Zambia with 7 points and just two more rounds of matches left to play, victories in them will put them in the World Cup Finals in Russia 2018.
Also present in the group but already out of the race for the finals in Russia, are African Champions, Cameroon, who currently stand in third place with a mere 3 points while Algeria prop up the table with 1 point.
England-based forward, Ahmed Musa, who has yet to make an appearance for Leicester City, came in as a surprise call-up after the Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr said that his selection of players for tom field in the qualifier matches was based on current form and match time.
Rohr dropped goalkeeper Dele Alampasu, who is also yet to make playing time for his portuguese club, Cesarense.
